With respect to the Emerging Growth Composite, amounts representing fees and transaction costs have been deducted. Returns are pre-tax and assume reinvestment of dividends and earnings. It should not be assumed that investments made in the future will be profitable or will equal the performance represented above. Investments may result in losses. Small- to mid-sized companies may have limited product lines, markets and financial resources and will be subject to more erratic market moves than large companies.

Indexes are unmanaged and do not include management fees, transaction costs, and other expenses that are incurred in connection with a managed account. An index will include a different degree of investment in individual securities, industries, or sectors from KIA's investment strategies. Indexes do not predict future results. The indexes shown are for comparative purposes only. Investors cannot invest directly in an index. The Russell 2000, Russell 2000 Growth, and S&P 500 returns include reinvestment of dividends, interest and income; the NASDAQ Composite returns do not. The Russell 2000 Index is a stock market index comprising the 2,000 smallest U.S. domiciled publicly traded common stocks that are included in the Russell 3000 Index. The Russell 2000 Growth Index measures the performance of the Russell 2000 companies with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth rates. The NASDAQ Composite Index measures all NASDAQ domestic and non-U.S.-based common stocks listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market. The S&P 500 index is the Standard & Poor's composite Index of 500 stocks, a widely recognized unmanaged index of common stock prices of large-capitalization U.S. companies.
