TQM Strategy Background

Kopp Investment Advisors' TQM Strategy started with the acquisition of Robinson Capital Management in 2004. Mark Billeadeau and Craig Robinson, the principals of Robinson Capital, brought their many years of experience with Quality to Kopp Investment Advisors. Both have been very involved in the Quality movement which has been increasingly recognized and embraced by corporate America. Craig was Board Chair of the Minnesota Council for Quality from 1999-2005 and is a featured speaker at national and regional conferences on the topic of investing in Quality. At Kopp Investment Advisors, he is a member of the Marketing/Client Services department.

Mark and Craig worked with John (Jack) Robinson, who pioneered the concept of using Quality as an investment tool. They created the Q-100®, a group of leading Quality companies, to measure the impact of quality-focused management. This research work led to the development of the TQM Strategy. Together with John Keyes, they form the Kopp TQM Strategy team.
